Art Director (Conceptual) – Advertising Agency | Dubai

A well-established independent advertising agency in Dubai is hiring a
Conceptual Art Director
to strengthen its creative team.

This role is for a
true ideas-led Art Director
— someone who can think conceptually, build strong creative territories, contribute meaningfully to pitches, and oversee execution across multiple touchpoints. This is not a purely design-focused role.

Role Overview

You will play a key role in developing creative concepts for brand campaigns, new business pitches, and ongoing client work. Working closely with Copywriters, Account Directors, and senior creative leadership, you will help shape ideas from early concept through to final execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and contribute to the development of strong creative concepts for campaigns and pitch briefs
  • Translate strategic insights into compelling visual and conceptual ideas
  • Create and present pitch decks, creative frameworks, and campaign narratives
  • Oversee execution across print, digital, social, OOH, and integrated campaigns
  • Ensure creative quality and consistency throughout the production process
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners to deliver work on time and to brief
  • Support junior creatives and contribute to the overall creative culture of the agency

Key Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Art Director within an advertising agency environment
  • Strong conceptual thinking and idea-generation skills (not just execution)
  • Experience working on pitches and integrated brand campaigns
  • Ability to take ideas from concept through to final delivery
  • Arabic speaker strongly preferred
  • Regional or UAE agency experience is a plus
