Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Project Engineer based in Umm al-Quwain, United Arab Emirates. The Senior Project Engineer will be responsible for the planning, management, and execution of engineering projects. Daily tasks will include project planning, coordinating with various teams, managing project timelines, overseeing electrical engineering tasks, and ensuring project deliverables meet quality standards and client specifications.

PLANNING & WORK PREPARATION

· Study the project and discuss with Sales if there are any obscurities.

· Prepare the design as per customer requirement and take customer approval in the drawing.

· Decide planning and execution of the order, with regard the post-calculation details, personnel and specifications of the customer as mentioned in the order file.

· Decide the purchase parts of the order prepare the RFQ & give the technical details to Div 3 in FOCUS9.

· Prepare the planning of projects.

· Decide which are the required materials, parts and work that need to be carried out, based on the project in production.

· To give the details regarding which parts are sawn and which are cut and in which way the parts of the specific installation need to be joined.

· Applicable method of work and the required tools informed in advance.

· All important checks and tests will be recorded in the Test plan, using standard checklists.

· Responsible for the preparation of specific test procedures.

· Responsible for correct handing over of the project to the customer as per milestone planning.

QUALITY CONTROL DEPARTMENT

· supervises intermediate and quality controls of all client deliveries and verifies whether the deliveries are according to standard and of high quality.

· ensures the release of project parts from the workshop with the relevant approvals and realises or supervises the control of all parts of the project with inspections, check lists and control of documents, before they leave the work shop.

· draws up a survey of all corrections that must be realized.

· liberates certain parts for transport

· organizes toolbox-meetings

· realizes work site inspections

· ensures an appropriate processing of waste management.

DELIVERY DEPARTMENT

· ensures the testing and inspection of the installation before the final delivery to the client, possibly proposes corrective measures to the Assembly department and ensures that these measures are realized according to specification.

Any other jobs can be assigned from time to time as and when management considers

Qualifications

• Project Management, Project Engineering, and Project Planning skills
• Strong Communication skills
• Experience in Electrical Engineering
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
• Proficiency in project management software and tools
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
• Experience in the crane manufacturing or heavy machinery industry is a plus
