Role Purpose

The Compliance Manager is responsible for formulating and implementing finance and compliance policies, assessing the organization's internal control framework, and identifying process gaps. The role involves coordinating with key stakeholders to address lapses, ensuring adherence to corporate and regulatory requirements, and conducting operational reviews and risk-based assessments to strengthen governance and compliance across the business.

Key Accountabilities

  • Responsible for design and implementation of financial policy and control framework
  • Maintain and update Delegation of Authorities across Group Entities
  • Responsible for the finance process improvement that includes review of existing finance processes, determining the control gaps and coordination with relevant stakeholders to address the underlying risks
  • Maintain the regulatory compliance tracker of MMI and ELR Group Entities in line with the specific country's regulatory requirements in consultation with local attorneys
  • Implement the compliance plan and ongoing compliance monitoring programme including carrying out the internal compliance reviews based on the risk-based approach.
  • Provide guidance and training to the compliance team to enhance internal control measures.

Required Experience, Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience with internal, operational and finance audits
  • Must be a qualified Chartered Accountant
  • Must have a high degree on proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint presentations
  • Experience and knowledge of compliance and risk audits

Desirable Skills

  • Experience with auditing principles and working in cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical, planning, and communication skills.
  • Driving License preferred
