Overview

We are building an AI native wealth platform for modern professionals. The product blends open-finance infrastructure, intelligent automation, curated investment access, and human expertise to deliver the sophistication of private banking in a single digital experience. The founding team brings deep experience scaling VC-backed fintechs from Seed to Series B, building world-class products and leading initiatives at major financial institutions across Asia, Europe, and the US. We have the idea, design, and early traction with investors.

We're starting in the UAE (Dubai), with the ambition to be global. We believe the timing in the region is right - the market is wide open, there's a supportive AI ecosystem, and there's a rare window to build a globally-minded company that defines the next generation of tech startups in this part of the world. We are now looking for a CTO and co-founder to own the engineering vision and architecture, translate complex product and data requirements into scalable systems, and help build a world-class team in Dubai.

Role

You will be responsible for building the technical foundation of the platform from the ground up. This includes system architecture, back-end design, data pipelines, AI integration, and infrastructure decisions across multiple regions. You will work directly with the founding team to transform a validated product and design into a robust, intelligent application ready for scale.

What You'll Do

  • Lead all engineering and data architecture decisions for an AI-native wealth platform
  • Shape the company's technical roadmap and participate in strategic fundraising, partnerships, and platform integrations
  • Recruit, mentor, and manage early technical hires, establishing the foundation for a high-performing engineering organization as the team scales.
  • Build and deploy scalable systems for account aggregation, financial data normalisation, and AI-driven insights
  • Integrate with open-finance APIs and structured financial datasets across currencies and jurisdictions
  • Collaborate with product, design, and data teams to ship core features across planning, investing, and intelligence modules
  • Design secure, compliant infrastructure capable of handling sensitive financial and personal data

Requirements

  • Full-stack engineer with strong back-end focus and a proven record shipping production systems at scale
  • Experience at a successful or scaled fintech, ideally across banking, wealth, or investing products
  • Proficient in modern cloud infrastructure, distributed systems, and API architectures
  • Demonstrated experience with AI, ML, or LLM applications (personal or professional)
  • Strong understanding of data architecture, analytics platforms, and deriving insights from complex datasets
  • Comfortable working in early-stage environments with founder-level ownership
  • Based in Dubai or willing to relocate
