Role Description

Industrial Construction | Contractor Side | UAE

Emirates Link General Contracting LLC (ELGC) is looking for a
hands-on HSE Officer / HSE Engineer
to support our
industrial construction projects
(mechanical, civil & E&M works).

This role is
site-focused
, suited for someone who understands real construction environments and can ensure safety
without slowing down execution

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and monitor
    HSE plans
    on site
  • Conduct
    toolbox talks, safety inductions & inspections
  • Manage
    PTW, risk assessments & method statements
  • Coordinate and review
    lifting plans
    with site teams
  • Identify unsafe acts/conditions and close them effectively
  • Ensure compliance with
    UAE regulations & client HSE standards
  • Prepare
    incident reports, NCRs & corrective actions
  • Maintain site HSE documentation and records

Qualifications

  • NEBOSH IGC certification is mandatory
  • Diploma / Degree in Engineering or Safety is an advantage
  • Prior experience in
    industrial / construction projects
    is mandatory
  • Familiarity with conducting risk assessments and safety audits
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and report-writing skills
  • Ability to work on-site and oversee safety program execution in a dynamic environment
  • Proficiency in Health & Safety and Workplace Safety practices
  • Strong knowledge and application of Environment Health and Safety (EHS) standards
  • Expertise in Occupational Health principles and regulations
