A leading global marine services provider that operates a modern fleet supporting offshore exploration, construction, and logistics activities across the region- is looking for an HSE officer for a term of
6 months(extendable)
. The organization upholds
strong international HSE standards
, maintains multiple global certifications, and has a long-standing reputation for safety, reliability, and operational excellence in marine and offshore environments. The HSE Officer is responsible for implementing and enforcing
health, safety, and environmental policies
in the workplace, ensuring compliance with local regulations and industry standards to create a safe and hazard-free work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with
    HSE regulations
    , company policies, and industry standards.
  • Conduct
    risk assessments, safety inspections, and audits
    at worksites.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor
    safety procedures and training programs
    .
  • Investigate and report
    accidents, incidents, and near-misses
    , recommending preventive measures.
  • Promote a
    strong safety culture
    by leading toolbox talks, safety meetings, and awareness campaigns.
  • Ensure proper use of
    Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
    and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Maintain
    HSE documentation
    , including permits, reports, and safety records.
  • Coordinate with regulatory bodies and participate in
    HSE audits and inspections
    .
  • Assist in emergency response planning, drills, and training programs.
  • Provide
    HSE reports
    and updates to management.

Requirements:

  • Certifications:
    NEBOSH IGC, IOSH, OSHA, or equivalent (mandatory).
  • Experience:
    3-5 years of experience in
    HSE roles
  • Knowledge of HSE standards
    (OSHA, ISO 45001, ISO 14001, local labor laws).
  • Strong communication, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to conduct
    safety training sessions and risk assessments
    .
  • UAE/GCC experience
    and a valid
    driving license
    (if applicable) are preferred.
