Primary Responsibilities
  • Conduct rapid assessments and initiate treatment for patients with diverse emergency medical conditions
  • Perform necessary life-saving procedures and interventions within established protocols
  • Work closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Utilize electronic medical records to maintain accurate documentation of patient care
  • Participate in departmental initiatives focused on quality improvement and patient safety
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding medical conditions and treatments
Requirements

Essential Qualifications:

  • M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited medical school
  • Graduation from an ACGME-accredited residency program in Emergency Medicine
  • Current board certification or eligibility in Emergency Medicine
  • Active medical license in the state of practice
  • Prior experience in an emergency medicine setting is preferred
  • Strong ability to function effectively in high-pressure situations
  • Excellent communication skills with a focus on teamwork and collaboration
  • Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous improvement
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Interest in participating in ongoing education and training in emergency medicine
