The Role

We are seeking an experienced Cost Controller to manage and oversee cost control and financial performance across the business. This role is critical in ensuring budgets are effectively managed, costs are controlled, and data-driven insights are provided to support strategic and operational decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, manage, and monitor budgets, forecasts, and cost plans
  • Track project and operational costs, ensuring alignment with approved budgets
  • Analyse cost variances, identify trends, and recommend corrective actions
  • Work closely with procurement and production teams to identify cost-saving opportunities
  • Support audits and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations
  • Prepare regular cost reports, variance analyses, and forecasts for senior management
  • Implement and improve cost control systems, policies, and KPIs
  • Act as the main point of contact for cost-related queries across departments

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or similar
  • Proven experience in cost control, budgeting, or financial analysis
  • Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel proficiency
  • Experience using financial or ERP systems
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
