With a strong presence in global bulk trades and an expanding network across the Middle East, Europe, and Africa, the company is now broadening its activities into Freight Forwarding and Multimodal Transport Solutions, serving clients across commodities, industrial products, and project cargo.

Position Summary:

The Freight Forwarder will be responsible for Sales & in managing end-to-end freight forwarding operations, from quotation and booking to documentation, customs clearance, and final delivery, ensuring smooth, cost-efficient, and compliant transport across multiple modes including sea, air, and land.

The ideal candidate will have to combine sales skills, existing network of potential customers, commercial awareness, logistics coordination experience, and a customer-oriented mindset, while working closely with the chartering and operations teams of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

Book import and export shipments (Sales) and achieve targets of the company.

Handle and monitor import and export shipments (FCL, LCL, air, and road freight).

Negotiate freight rates with carriers, NVOCCs, airlines, and trucking companies.

Prepare, issue, and verify shipping documentation (bills of lading, airway bills, invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, etc.).

Coordinate with customers, customs brokers, warehouses, port agents, and all necessary networks, to ensure timely dispatch and clearance.

Track and update shipment status, proactively managing exceptions or delays.

Liaise with suppliers, warehouses, and customers to optimise logistics flow and cost efficiency.

Prepare quotations, cost analyses, and forwarding offers for customers.

Ensure compliance with Incoterms, trade regulations, and company SOPs.

Lead the commercial team in developing new forwarding accounts and trade lanes.

Qualifications & Experience:

Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Sales of freight forwarding and logistics (preferably international).

Solid knowledge of multimodal transport, customs procedures, and international trade documentation.

Familiarity with Incoterms 2020, shipping lines, and freight management systems (ERP or TMS).

Experience with bulk, breakbulk, or project cargo will be considered an advantage.

Bachelor's degree in Logistics / Maritime Studies / International Trade, or a related field.

Excellent command of English (written and spoken); Arabic or Hindi or Chinese is an additional asset.

High attention to detail, accuracy, and proactive problem-solving skills.
