Job Title: Audit Associate

Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated Audit Associate to join our audit team. The role involves assisting in financial audits, ensuring compliance with accounting regulations, and supporting improvements in financial processes and systems. This is an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates to build a career in auditing and gain hands-on experience in a professional environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in planning and conducting financial audits under the guidance of the Audit Manager.
  • Review and verify financial records, statements, and transactions for accuracy and compliance.
  • Analyze financial statements and reports to identify discrepancies or areas of concern.
  • Prepare audit working papers and document audit findings and conclusions.
  • Liaise with clients to gather necessary information and documentation for audits.
  • Communicate audit findings to senior auditors and management.
  • Provide recommendations for improving financial practices and internal controls.
  • Ensure all audit work complies with established audit standards, laws, and regulations.
  • Stay updated on changes in accounting and auditing standards.
  • Collaborate with audit team members to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality audit reports.
  • Assist in drafting audit reports summarizing key findings and recommendations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CPA, ACCA, or CA certification (or working towards certification) is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and auditing standards.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Open to fresh graduates eager to start their career in auditing.
