Job Purpose

The Fleet Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the efficient, safe, and compliant operation of the smart scanning vehicle fleet. This role oversees driver supervision, fleet utilization, vehicle maintenance, and operational coordination to ensure uninterrupted scanning coverage in line with Parkin's operational standards. The Fleet Supervisor acts as the primary point of contact for fleet-related incidents and works closely with Parkin and internal teams to drive operational efficiency and performance improvements.

Job Responsibilities

1. Vehicle Management

  • Ensure all vehicles are refueled outside operational hours (07:00 - 23:00) to avoid service disruption
  • Coordinate periodic vehicle maintenance with the rental company, including scheduled service and inspections
  • Ensure regular interior and exterior vehicle cleaning in line with established schedules Interior: seats, floors, dashboards Exterior: body, windows, tires
  • Ensure careful handling and cleaning of sensitive devices, sensors, and wiring to prevent damage or malfunction
  • Receive, document, and act upon traffic accident reports, coordinating with the rental company for repairs, insurance claims, and follow-up actions

2. Driver Management

  • Monitor vehicle departure and arrival times to ensure adherence to planned scanning routes and schedules
  • Organize driver rest periods to ensure continuous fleet availability and avoid simultaneous vehicle stoppages
  • Manage driver attendance and assign drivers to vehicles and routes based on operational needs
  • Plan and approve driver leave schedules to ensure sufficient coverage and avoid operational gaps
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with drivers and inspection supervisors to support smooth operations
  • Address driver complaints and concerns promptly, ensuring resolution and follow-up for satisfaction and performance improvement

3. Training, Compliance & Performance

  • Monitor driver performance and ensure compliance with KPIs, safety standards, and operational procedures
  • Ensure all drivers meet mandatory training requirements, including:
  1. Defensive Driving Certification: Drivers must complete a certified defensive driving course prior to deployment
  2. Smart Scanning System Training: Parkin provides initial system training; the Second Party must ensure 100% driver attendance
  3. Annual Refresher Training: All drivers must complete annual training updates to maintain operational readiness
Ensure only trained and authorized drivers are assigned to operate smart scanning vehicles

4. Operational Coordination & Incident Management

  • Serve as the first point of contact for fleet-related operational issues and incidents
  • Liaise with Parkin regarding driver assignments, operational requirements, and performance improvements
  • Investigate incidents, implement corrective actions, and recommend process enhancements to improve efficiency and compliance

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Diploma or bachelor's degree in Logistics, Transportation, Operations Management, or a related field
  • Valid UAE driving license (preferred)
  • 3-5 years of experience in fleet supervision, transportation operations, or logistics management
  • Proven experience managing vehicle fleets and driver teams, preferably in smart mobility, utilities, inspection, or field operations
  • Experience in handling traffic incidents, accident reporting, and insurance claims
  • Familiarity with shift planning, route scheduling, and workforce deployment
  • Knowledge of road safety regulations and operational compliance standards
  • Ability to monitor driver performance, KPIs, attendance, and compliance
