Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Sales Engineer to manage and drive the aftermarket retrofit HVAC business in the UAE. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, maintaining customer relationships, and promoting the retrofit HVAC solutions, ensuring customer satisfaction and profitability. This role involves a blend of technical expertise in HVAC systems, sales acumen, and customer management to lead the growth of the retrofit and aftermarket business segment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales & Business Development:
  • Identify, prospect, and develop new business opportunities in the aftermarket HVAC retrofit segment.
  • Manage the entire sales process, from lead generation to closing deals, ensuring alignment with business targets and goals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers and partners in the UAE market.
  • Promote retrofit HVAC solutions to clients by understanding their needs and offering tailored solutions.
  • Achieve sales targets and expand the customer base in line with the company's strategic objectives.
  • Technical Expertise:
  • Provide technical support and guidance to customers regarding HVAC retrofit solutions, including energy-efficient systems, equipment upgrades, and system optimization.
  • Conduct site visits and surveys to assess existing systems and recommend appropriate retrofitting solutions.
  • Develop technical proposals, detailed quotes, and specifications based on client requirements.
  • Customer Relationship Management:
  • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Offer post-sale support, including troubleshooting, maintenance advice, and warranty management.
  • Develop long-term customer relationships by understanding their evolving needs and providing continuous support and upgrades.
  • Market Intelligence & Reporting:
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify new business opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis to provide insights into business performance.
  • Attend industry events, conferences, and meetings to represent the company and gather market intelligence.
  • Collaboration & Coordination:
  • Work closely with the internal teams, including engineering and operations, to ensure smooth execution of retrofit projects and customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery and availability of materials and equipment for retrofit installations.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in sales engineering, specifically in HVAC systems or related fields, with a focus on aftermarket services or retrofit solutions.
  • Strong understanding of HVAC systems, retrofit processes, and energy-efficient solutions.
  • Strong proficiency in Sales and Sales Engineering to effectively consult, propose, and close deals
  • Experience in providing Technical Support, including analyzing and resolving client needs and challenges
  • Excellent Communication and Customer Service skills to build relationships and ensure client satisfaction
  • Self-motivation with an ability to work both independently and within a team, demonstrating initiative and adaptability

Additional Requirements:

  • Valid UAE driving license.
  • Willingness to travel within the UAE as needed to meet clients and attend project sites.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
