Role Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Bills Payable Executive to manage the company's accounts payable processes. The ideal candidate will ensure timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices, maintain strong relationships with suppliers, and support the finance team in maintaining financial integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and verify vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Match purchase orders, receipts, and invoices to validate transactions.
  • Schedule and execute payments via bank transfers, cheques, or other approved methods.
  • Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Maintain vendor records and reconcile statements regularly.
  • Coordinate with procurement and other departments to resolve invoice-related issues.
  • Prepare periodic reports on accounts payable status and aging analysis.
  • Assist in month-end closing and audit preparations.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in accounts payable or similar finance role.
  • Proficiency in accounting software
  • Strong understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in a fast-paced corporate environment.
  • Familiarity with VAT and other regional tax regulations.
  • Strong communication and vendor management skills.
