About the Role

We are looking for
Freelance Event Zone Supervisors
in Dubai and Abu Dhabi to support our event starting from the preparation and build-up phase through live event days. This is a hands-on, on-site role requiring strong coordination, leadership, and problem-solving skills in fast-paced event environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in the preparation phase, including understanding zone layouts, schedules, access plans, and operational requirements.
  • Take ownership of an assigned zone from pre-event preparation and build-up through event days.
  • Coordinate with the Event Operations Manager / Project Manager prior to the event to ensure zone readiness.
  • Supervise on-site teams, contractors, and suppliers operating within the assigned zone.
  • Ensure works are executed according to approved floor plans, timelines, and operational guidelines.
  • Monitor progress during build-up and event days, identifying risks or delays and resolving issues proactively.
  • Enforce health, safety, and site compliance standards at all times.
  • Manage live operations during show days and respond quickly to on-site operational needs.
  • Provide clear updates and reports to the central operations team.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Zone Supervisor, Site Supervisor, or similar role in events.
  • Strong understanding of event preparation, build-up, and live event operations.
  • Ability to manage multiple teams and work under pressure.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills.
  • Flexible availability, including long hours, night shifts, and weekends during event periods.
  • Physically able to work on-site for extended hours.
  • Willing to stay and work in Abu Dhabi
