The IT Operations Specialist is responsible for daily IT operations, end-user support, procurement, and implementation of enterprise systems.

This role holder ensures

  • systems are well-managed, secure, and reliable while also driving technology adoption to enhance user productivity.
  • timely resolution of IT issues, contributes to the smooth functioning of digital systems, and helps maintain a secure and efficient technology environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for laptops, desktops, mobile devices, printers, and A/V systems.
  • Troubleshoot Windows 10/11, macOS, and Microsoft 365 admin and apps.
  • Manage user accounts in AD/AAD, Exchange, and SharePoint.
  • Respond to phishing, malware, and security threats.
  • Communicate critical security updates and align daily operations with ISO compliance.
  • Resolve Level 1 requests within committed SLAs.
  • Redirect/Escalate level 2 requests to the designated team.
  • Implement and manage Microsoft Intune, Defender, and security policies.
  • Administer Exchange Online and SharePoint sites.
  • Configure Azure AD (MFA, conditional access, SSO).
  • Support VM hosting in Azure and AWS.
  • Troubleshoot LAN/WAN, VPN, and wireless issues.
  • Manage Huawei switches, access points, and routing.
  • Support WAN optimization and network performance.
  • Manage IT ticketing system and prioritize resolutions.
  • Document recurring issues and recommend permanent fixes.
  • Handle procurement of IT hardware, software, and licenses.
  • Maintain IT asset inventory and support Finance in verification.
  • Drive automation using Microsoft 365, Power Automate, and scripts.
  • Implement solutions that improve productivity and user experience.

Requirement

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience: 3–5 years in IT operations with proven hands-on system implementation and user support experience.
  • Fluent in English with excellent communication skills. Conversational fluency in Arabic desirable.
  • Required Certifications:
    MS Intune are AZ-900 mandatory requirement.
    SC 100, SC 400, NSE 4, Huawei Switch Certification are advantageous.
