The Retail Showroom Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the furniture showroom, ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining visual merchandising standards, and supporting the sales team to achieve targets. Key Responsibilities:

Showroom Operations

  • Supervise and manage the daily activities of the showroom.
  • Ensure the showroom is clean, organized, and aligned with company visual merchandising standards.
  • Monitor stock levels, coordinate with the warehouse team for replenishments, and ensure timely display updates.
  • Handle POS operations, invoicing, and sales documentation.

Customer Service & Sales

  • Greet customers, understand their requirements, and provide product recommendations.
  • Support the sales team in achieving individual and store sales targets.
  • Resolve customer complaints and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and explain features, materials, and benefits of furniture items.

Team Supervision

  • Lead, motivate, and guide showroom staff to ensure optimal performance.
  • Schedule staff shifts and manage attendance.
  • Conduct on-the-job training for sales associates regarding products, sales techniques, and customer service standards.

Inventory & Product Management

  • Coordinate with procurement and warehouse teams to ensure product availability.
  • Oversee goods receiving and ensure accurate tagging, pricing, and placement.
  • Monitor slow-moving and fast-moving items and provide recommendations for promotions or display changes.

Reporting & Administration

  • Prepare daily/weekly sales reports and share performance updates with management.
  • Report maintenance issues, equipment needs, and any operational concerns.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and showroom procedures.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
  • Minimum
    3–5 years of experience
    in retail showroom supervision, preferably in the
    furniture or home décor industry
    .
  • Strong sales, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of furniture materials, styles, and trending designs is an advantage.
  • Ability to lead a team and manage showroom operations efficiently.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and POS systems.
