About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and driven Operations Manager to oversee and deliver high-quality
fit out, events, and exhibition projects
from concept to completion.

The ideal candidate will possess strong operational management skills, leadership capabilities, and the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery — on time, within budget, and up to client expectations.

You'll play a key role in managing end-to-end project activities, ensuring seamless coordination between design, procurement, and on-site execution teams.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Management

  • Lead the planning, scheduling, budgeting, and coordination of multiple fit out, exhibition, and event projects.
  • Define project scopes, deliverables, and timelines in line with client requirements.
  • Manage daily project operations to ensure timely delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Anticipate and mitigate potential project risks or delays.

Design & Technical Coordination

  • Collaborate with designers, architects, engineers, and production teams to ensure design feasibility and technical accuracy.
  • Review drawings, BOQs, and shop drawings before execution.
  • Translate creative concepts into practical, buildable solutions.

Procurement & Resource Management

  • Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors for timely material delivery.
  • Manage procurement schedules, quotations, and cost control measures.
  • Ensure quality standards are maintained across all sourced materials and services.

Site Execution & Supervision

  • Oversee on-site installation, setup, and dismantling processes for exhibitions and events.
  • Ensure HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) standards and site regulations are followed.
  • Conduct site inspections and monitor progress according to project timelines.

Client & Stakeholder Relations

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout all project phases.
  • Conduct regular progress meetings and provide project updates.
  • Build long-term relationships through trust, quality delivery, and responsiveness.

Financial Control & Reporting

  • Prepare and manage budgets, cost analyses, and financial forecasts.
  • Track project expenses, invoices, and variation orders.
  • Ensure profitability and operational efficiency of all assigned projects.

Team Leadership

  • Lead and motivate project coordinators, engineers, and site teams.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, quality, and continuous improvement.
  • Provide mentorship and performance feedback to junior staff.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
  • 5–8 years of proven experience
    in
    fit out, exhibitions, or event project management
    (UAE/GCC experience preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of design, production, and site execution processes.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, AutoCAD, Excel, or equivalent).
  • Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  • Valid UAE driving license (preferred).
