Position: Clinic Receptionist

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our Pediatric Dental Department. The ideal candidate will have experience in dental reception work within a private, cash-based clinic and must be capable of staying calm and efficient when dealing with children, anxious parents, and patients who may be in pain or distress. A pleasant, warm character and high level of professionalism are essential. Knowledge of Arabic or an additional language is a strong advantage.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Welcome pediatric patients and their families with warmth and professionalism.
  • Manage inquiries via phone, WhatsApp, and email.
  • Schedule and coordinate appointments for multiple pediatric dentists.
  • Process payments (cash and card) and maintain accurate financial and patient records.
  • Coordinate smoothly with clinical staff to ensure efficient patient flow.
  • Support parents by providing clear information and handling concerns in a calm, reassuring manner.
  • Uphold clinic standards and escalate issues when appropriate.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a receptionist in a dental or healthcare setting, ideally in a private cash-based clinic.
  • Professional, well-presented appearance with a friendly and child-appropriate manner.
  • Ability to work under pressure, especially when dealing with distressed children or concerned parents.
  • Excellent command of English; Arabic or another additional language is highly advantageous.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to multitask and remain composed in a busy clinical environment.
