ROLE

Cosmopole is seeking an experienced, strategic, and culturally attuned Arabic speaking Public Relations Account Specialist to lead high impact communications programmes for government, semi government, and corporate clients. This role requires excellent command of both Arabic and English, deep regional insight - particularly within Abu Dhabi - and the ability to shape narratives that resonate meaningfully with Emirati audiences.

MISSION

As the Arabic PR Account Specialist at Cosmopole, your mission is twofold:

  1. Develop, lead, and execute strategic public relations programmes for government and semi government entities.
  2. Continuously research, conceptualise, and deliver innovative PR and communications campaigns that effectively reach and engage the intended target audiences—typically Emirati communities.

mindset, professional agility, and the ability to work confidently across diverse sectors, personalities, and cultures. You will integrate seamlessly into our existing team, adapt to Cosmopole's values and ways of working, and champion our commitment to delivering expertise "the Cosmopole way".

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA

  • Exceptional communication skills in both Arabic and English, with demonstrated ability to write, edit, and develop compelling key messages in both languages.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in corporate and/or government communications with at least 6 years' agency experience, preferably in Abu Dhabi.

  • Deep understanding of:

  • Government and corporate working cultures

  • Community news cycles and outreach mechanisms and channels

  • Abu Dhabi government networks, protocols, and leadership reporting requirements

  • Creative storytelling mindset.

  • Outstanding time management and organisational skills.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Plan and implement integrated PR campaigns and manage client expectations.

Lead PR contract delivery across assigned accounts, ensuring fulfilment of all deliverables.

Maximise media visibility, with a particular focus on Arabic media relations.

Drive collaborative teamwork and contribute to PR team ideation.

  • A bachelor's degree in either Journalism, Media or Mass Communications
  • Previous agency experience min 5 years (government comms focused role)
  • Excellent verbal and written presentation skills
  • Expert communications skills in English and Arabic (written and verbal)
  • Excellent knowledge of the UAE media landscape
  • Ability to work in in Abu Dhabi on a fulltime basis
