We are seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available systems infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Windows Server, Linux, virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V), and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS). This role requires a hands-on engineer who can troubleshoot, automate, and secure systems while providing technical leadership and supporting a dynamic team in a fast-paced, enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • System Architecture & Design: Design and deploy scalable, high-availability systems with cloud services (IaaS, PaaS), virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V), and storage solutions. Lead the development of system roadmaps and ensure alignment with business strategy and security standards.
  • Operations & Engineering: Act as Level 2 escalation for system incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement permanent fixes for both Windows and Linux systems.
  • Automation & Scripting: Develop automation scripts using PowerShell, Python, Bash, Ansible to streamline operational tasks and improve efficiency.
  • Backup & Recovery: Manage enterprise backup solutions (e.g., Veeam, Commvault), and ensure disaster recovery strategies meet RTO and RPO requirements.
  • Security & Compliance: Implement security best practices across systems, manage patch management, and integrate identity and access management (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP). Ensure systems meet regulatory compliance standards.
  • Storage & Virtualization Management: Oversee storage technologies like SAN/NAS, LVM, and manage virtualized environments using VMware vSphere, Hyper-V, or similar.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 8+ years of experience working with Windows Server , Linux (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu), and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
  • Strong experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware vSphere, Hyper-V, and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Hands-on expertise in scripting & automation using PowerShell, Python, Bash, and tools like Ansible.
  • Proven experience in enterprise backup solutions (e.g., Veeam, Commvault) and data replication.
  • Knowledge of networking (e.g., routing, firewalls, VPNs) and security practices for cloud-based systems.
  • Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and identity management solutions.
  • Certifications in relevant fields like ISO27000, ISO31000, ISO22301 or equivalent is a plus.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and experience in performance tuning for both Windows and Linux environments.
