Deputy Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Deputy Project Manager – Interior Fit-Out to support the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and delivering interior fit-out projects across Dubai. The role requires strong team leadership, hands-on site management, and working knowledge of Primavera (P6) to support project planning, scheduling, and progress tracking.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Project Manager in managing end-to-end interior fit-out projects
- Lead and supervise site teams, engineers, foremen, and subcontractors
- Plan, monitor, and update project schedules using Primavera P6
- Coordinate site activities, manpower, and resources for timely project execution
- Monitor project progress, quality, and compliance with approved drawings and specifications
- Liaise with clients, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors
- Review shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements
- Assist in cost control, variation management, and procurement
- Ensure compliance with HSE standards and company policies
- Prepare progress reports, look-ahead schedules, and project documentation
- Act as Project Manager in their absence when required
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, or related field
- 5–8 years of UAE experience in interior fit-out projects
- Proven experience in leading project teams and site operations
- Strong knowledge of interior fit-out works including joinery, finishes, and MEP coordination
- Working knowledge of Primavera P6 for planning and tracking project schedules
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in MS Office; basic AutoCAD knowledge preferred
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work under pressure
