Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Safety Officer with experience in landscape projects to ensure the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance on-site. The ideal candidate will oversee daily safety operations, conduct inspections, and support the implementation of HSE plans, procedures, and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and monitor the project's HSE plan in compliance with company and legal requirements.
  • Conduct daily site inspections, toolbox talks, and risk assessments.
  • Ensure workers follow safe work practices, with special focus on landscaping activities (excavation, planting, irrigation, soft/hard landscaping, machinery use).
  • Identify hazards and recommend preventive and corrective actions.
  • Report unsafe acts and conditions, and ensure prompt mitigation.
  • Maintain records of incidents, near-misses, and corrective measures.
  • Participate in HSE meetings with project teams and consultants.
  • Train and guide workers on safety procedures and PPE usage.
  • Assist in preparing safety reports, documentation, and audits.
  • Coordinate emergency preparedness and response activities.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience as a Safety Officer, preferably in landscape or infrastructure projects.
  • NEBOSH IGC certification (mandatory or preferred).
  • Knowledge of UAE safety regulations, codes of practice, and HSE standards.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to identify hazards and provide training.
  • Familiar with documentation, incident reporting, and safety audits.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED5, AED6,000.00 per month
