  • Lead and manage the procurement of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) materials and services, ensuring timely delivery and cost-effectiveness.
  • Negotiate and finalize contracts with MEP suppliers, contractors, and vendors, securing favorable terms and conditions for the organization.
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies specific to MEP projects, aligning with project goals and budgetary constraints.
  • Conduct thorough market research to identify potential suppliers, evaluate their capabilities, and assess their financial stability within the MEP sector.
  • Oversee the entire procurement lifecycle for MEP items, from requisition to payment, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Collaborate closely with MEP project managers, engineers, and construction teams to understand their needs and provide procurement support.
  • Monitor supplier performance, address any issues or discrepancies, and implement corrective actions to maintain quality and reliability.
  • Analyze procurement data and generate reports to identify areas for improvement, cost savings, and process optimization within MEP procurement.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in MEP procurement to drive innovation and efficiency.
  • Manage and maintain accurate procurement records, ensuring transparency and accountability in all MEP-related transactions.
Desired Candidate Profile
  • Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, demonstrating a strong technical foundation.
  • Holds relevant certifications such as Certified Professional Purchaser (CPP) or Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM), showcasing professional commitment.
  • Demonstrates a minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in procurement, with a specific focus on MEP projects within the construction industry.
  • Exhibits a deep understanding of MEP systems, materials, and equipment, enabling informed decision-making.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken), with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Nationality preference: Open to all nationalities, fostering a diverse and inclusive work environment.
  • Proficient in using procurement software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), enhancing operational efficiency.
  • Demonstrates strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers.
  • Possesses excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of making data-driven decisions.
  • Exhibits strong leadership qualities and the ability to manage a team, driving performance and achieving goals.
