Role Purpose

Optimum Origens is seeking a
highly connected, deal-driven Chief Business Development Officer (APAC)
to open, influence, and close enterprise and mid-market opportunities across the APAC region.

This role is designed for a
networked operator
, not a traditional employee but someone with existing relationships who can convert trust into revenue.

Key Responsibilities:
Revenue & Market Expansion

  • Leverage existing executive, enterprise, and channel relationships to originate MSP, cybersecurity, cloud, and IT services deals
  • Drive new client acquisition across:
  • APAC regional enterprises
  • Multinational firms with APAC operations
  • Compliance-driven and regulated industries
  • Own the full commercial lifecycle:
  • Opportunity identification
  • Executive introductions
  • Deal shaping and negotiation
  • Contract closure

Go-To-Market Execution

  • Represent Optimum Origens as the
    regional commercial face
    in APAC
  • Position our global delivery, cybersecurity, and service desk capabilities
  • Collaborate with the CEO, CCO, CTO, and Service Delivery teams on proposals and onboarding

Relationship & Channel Development

  • Build strategic partnerships with:
  • Local system integrators
  • Cloud and security vendors
  • Industry associations
  • Maintain long-term client relationships post-close to support renewals and expansion

Compensation Structure

This is a
commission-led role
, aligned to performance and results:

  • Commission on closed deals
    (percentage negotiable based on deal size and margin)
  • Recurring revenue commissions
    for MSP contracts
  • Upside participation
    as the APAC portfolio grows
  • Future equity consideration
    tied to sustained performance and strategic value

  • 10+ years in business development, sales leadership, or executive partnerships
  • Strong personal and professional network across APAC
  • Proven ability to close B2B services, IT, cybersecurity, or technology deals
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with high autonomy
  • Comfortable operating in a commission-based, results-driven environment
  • Experience working with or selling to multinational clients is a strong advantage
