We are seeking a DM Approved Engineer with solid experience in interior fit-out and construction projects to join our team. The ideal candidate must hold a valid Dubai Municipality (DM) approval and will be responsible for overseeing design submissions, authority approvals, site inspections, and compliance with all regulatory requirements. The role requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and coordination with clients, consultants, and government authorities to ensure project compliance and timely approvals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review design drawings, shop drawings, and technical submissions as per DM standards.
  • Ensure that all projects comply with Dubai Municipality, Civil Defense, Trakhees, and other authority regulations.
  • Coordinate and submit drawings and documents for DM approvals related to interior fit-out and construction works.
  • Conduct site inspections to verify that works are executed in accordance with approved drawings and specifications.
  • Liaise with consultants, contractors, and authority representatives to facilitate inspections and approvals.
  • Review and verify structural, MEP, and architectural designs for technical accuracy and regulatory compliance.
  • Prepare and submit project completion certificates, NOCs, and as-built drawings as required.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of building codes, safety standards, and DM regulations.
  • Support the project team with technical guidance and authority-related documentation.
  • Participate in coordination meetings and provide timely updates on approval status and compliance requirements.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Dubai Municipality Approved Engineer status (valid and active).
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in construction or interior fit-out projects within the UAE.
  • Strong knowledge of local authority approval procedures (DM, DCD, DDA, Trakhees, TECOM, etc.).
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other design/drafting software.
  • Excellent understanding of UAE Building Codes, Fire & Life Safety, and Structural Guidelines.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills to coordinate between multiple stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple approval processes efficiently and meet deadlines.

Preferred Attributes:

  • Experience in fit-out, renovation, and design approval workflows.
  • Familiarity with green building and sustainability standards.
  • Valid UAE driving license.
  • Membership in SOE (Society of Engineers UAE) is an advantage.
