Estimator cum Quantity Surveyor – Fit-Out (2 years' Experience in UAE Required)

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-driven Estimator cum Quantity Surveyor (QS) to join our dynamic fit-out team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in the Dubai fit-out industry, with proven expertise in both estimation and post-contract QS duties.

Key Responsibilities:

Estimation Duties:

  • Prepare accurate cost estimates and BOQs for interior fit-out and joinery projects.
  • Analyze drawings, specifications, and tender documents to define project scope.
  • Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotations.
  • Conduct value engineering to optimize project costs without compromising quality.
  • Support tender submissions and pre-contract pricing strategies.
  • Quantity Surveying Duties:
  • Prepare interim valuations, variations, and final accounts.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of UAE experience in the interior fit-out industry, including both estimation and QS roles.
  • Strong knowledge of fit-out materials, joinery works, and Dubai market rates.
  • Monitor project costs, control budgets, and track material usage on site.
  • Work closely with project managers and site engineers to validate progress and payments.
  • Handle contractual claims, change orders, and negotiations with clients and subcontractors.
  • Maintain project cost control documentation and reports.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and QS/estimation software.

Preferred:

  • UAE Driving License.
  • Knowledge of Dubai Municipality and other local authority processes.
