Responsibilities
  • Perform a range of surgical procedures for pediatric patients, including both elective and emergency surgeries.
  • Evaluate and manage patients with surgical conditions, developing individualized treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with pediatricians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Monitor patients' progress post-surgery and manage any complications that may arise.
  • Educate patients and their families on surgical options, risks, and post-operative care.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of all surgical interventions.
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements in pediatric surgical techniques and best practices.

Requirements

  • Medical degree from an accredited institution with specialization in Pediatric Surgery.
  • Board certification in Pediatric Surgery.
  • Current medical license to practice.
  • Extensive experience in pediatric surgical procedures in a clinical or hospital setting.
  • Strong knowledge of pediatric anatomy and surgical techniques.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, especially in working with children and families.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team and adapt to high-pressure situations.
