Job Summary:
The Sales Engineer – Water Treatment is responsible for developing and managing customer relationships, providing technical expertise on water treatment solutions. This role combines engineering knowledge with sales skills to meet client requirements across industrial, municipal, and commercial sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in water treatment markets
- Manage the full sales cycle: lead generation, technical evaluation, proposal, negotiation, and closing
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations and proposals
- Meet or exceed assigned sales targets and revenue goals
Technical & Engineering Support:
- Assess customer needs through site visits, water analysis and process evaluations
- Experience in appropriate water treatment solutions (e.g., filtration, RO, softening, chemical treatment (cooling tower, closed loop, boiler…) & wastewater treatment)
- Collaborate with engineering, operations and service teams to ensure successful project execution
- Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support as needed
Qualifications & Skills:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering
Experience:
- 2–3+ years of experience in sales / technical sales in water treatment
- Experience with Industrial, municipal or commercial water systems preferred
- Valid UAE Driving License
Sales & Soft Skills:
- Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills
- Self-motivated, results-driven and comfortable working independently
- Willingness to travel for customer visits and site assessments
Salary & Benefits:
Salary: AED 4,000 – 7,000 per month (depending on experience)
Commission / Incentives: Performance-based sales commission
