Freelance Media Relations Specialist – Abu Dhabi (Project-Based)

We are seeking a talented 
Freelance Media Relations Specialist
 to support a high-impact project based in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate has strong regional media connections, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to secure meaningful coverage across print, digital, and broadcast channels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute media outreach strategies tailored to the UAE market
  • Draft press releases, media pitches, and communication materials
  • Coordinate interviews, briefings, and media events
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists and media outlets
  • Track media coverage and provide timely reporting and insights
  • Ensure messaging aligns with project goals and stakeholder expectations

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in media relations within the UAE/GCC
  • Strong network of media contacts, especially in Abu Dhabi
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage tight deadlines
  • Experience in government, corporate communications, or public affairs is a plus
  • Arabic language skills are a must
