New offices to follow in other key markets. About the role BLR WORLD is seeking a dedicated and proactive Business Development Intern to join our team in Dubai. This is a hands-on opportunity to contribute directly to our growth by driving market insights, monitoring key business portals and supporting the creation of impactful client pitches. This role includes working closely with Social Media, Graphic Design and Senior Leadership / Executive teams. Key Responsibilities 1. Market Research & Competitive Analysis Conduct comprehensive market research to identify new business opportunities, emerging trends, and shifts in the global landscape.Analyze competitor strategies, service offerings, and industry best practices to help BLR WORLD maintain a competitive edge and inform strategic decision-making. 2. Business Portal Monitoring Oversee the daily monitoring and maintenance of select company business and supplier portals. Ensure all corporate documents, compliance certificates, and company information within the portals are accurate and up-to-date.Proactively check portals for new tender opportunities and assist in the timely upload of submissions and required documentation.Support the administrative process for new supplier registrations on various client and industry platforms. 3. Proposal and Pitch Development Support in the creation of compelling, client-tailored proposals and presentations.Contribute to the full development cycle, from initial strategic conceptualization and planning to content writing and final presentation preparation.Translate complex services and solutions into clear, concise, and impactful messaging for prospective clients. 4. Research & Analysis Assist in identifying, researching, and qualifying potential leads and business prospects across target markets.Contribute to the development and execution of lead generation strategies by supporting data analysis, market outreach, and networking initiatives. 5. Administration Other tasks as required Qualifications & Skills Required Qualifications Currently pursuing or a recent graduate with a degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a closely related field.Must be eligible to work full-time in Dubai, UAE, and commit to an office-based role. Essential Skills Analytical Skills: Proven ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data to derive actionable insights.Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, with a strong emphasis on professional document and presentation creation.Adaptability & Initiative: A proactive mindset and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Collaborative Skills: A strong team player who can work effectively with various internal stakeholders.Attention to Detail: Highly organized approach to administrative duties, document management, and proposal submission.
