, permanentPosition: Fleet Manager Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fleet Manager to oversee our transportation operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fleet management, with a focus on safety, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. This is a key leadership role within our organization, responsible for managing a large fleet of vehicles and ensuring the smooth and timely delivery of goods and services to our clients. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement fleet management strategies and policies to ensure the safe and efficient operation of our vehicles.- Monitor and analyze fleet performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.- Oversee the maintenance and repair of all company vehicles, ensuring they are in compliance with safety and regulatory standards.- Manage and maintain accurate records of fleet inventory, including vehicle specifications, maintenance schedules, and fuel consumption.- Plan and coordinate vehicle routes to optimize delivery times and reduce costs.- Ensure compliance with all transportation laws and regulations, including vehicle registration, insurance, and driver qualifications.- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of vehicle parts and services.- Manage a team of drivers and other fleet personnel, providing training, coaching, and performance evaluations.- Prepare and manage the fleet budget, monitoring expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities.- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in vehicle technology to improve fleet operations.
