- Estimating and cost planning for pre-tender stage.
- Preparing tender documents and Bill of Quantities for tender projects.
- All major strategic procurement from identification of approved materials, verifying quantities as per the plan v/s actual.
- Working closely with suppliers and clients to improve operation and reduce probable costs while project executions.
- Coordination with projects manager and site engineer.
- Coordinating with procurement advising on supply constraints, forecast information or products, recommendation on alternative products, push through scheduling of orders, reports on order status etc.
- Monitors and prepares cost variations.
- Reviewing project plans, specifications, and drawings to understand the joinery requirements.
- Quantifying and estimating the quantities of materials needed for each joinery item, such as cabinets, doors, and fixtures.
- Researching and sourcing prices for materials and labor to calculate the overall cost of the project.
- Preparing detailed cost estimates and proposals for clients or project managers.
- Collaborating with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain accurate pricing and availability of materials.
- Identifying and analyzing potential risks and challenges that may impact the project's cost or schedule.
- Keeping up-to-date with industry trends, materials, and pricing to ensure accurate estimates.
- Assisting in the preparation of project budgets and cost control during the construction phase.
- Communicating and coordinating with the project team to ensure the accuracy of estimates and address any changes or modifications.
- Providing support and expertise during the tendering process, including attending site visits and meetings with clients.
- Verifies & certifies suppliers and vendor's invoices and quotes
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
- Multi-tasking, self-motivated, energetic team player with a flexible and adaptable approach to work;
- Good knowledge about the UAE market
- Work well under pressure & Able to handle multiple project.
