Banquets Supervisor

Main Duties/Responsibilities:
- Work with clients to understand their event requirements and preferences.
- Coordinate with the sales and catering teams to plan menus, room layouts, and other details.
- Ensure that all necessary equipment, materials, and staffing are arranged for each event.
- Oversee the setup and breakdown of event spaces, ensuring that all tables, chairs, linens, and decorations are arranged according to the client's specifications.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient food and beverage service.
- Monitor the progress of events, addressing any issues or concerns that may arise and making adjustments as needed to ensure client satisfaction.
- Interact with clients and guests throughout the event, ensuring that their needs and requests are met in a timely and professional manner.
- Handle any complaints or special requests, taking appropriate action to resolve issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Maintain inventory of banquet supplies, equipment, and materials, replenishing as needed and identifying opportunities for cost savings.
- Previous experience in banquet supervisory role in 5 star hotel.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients, guests, and staff members.
- Knowledge of food and beverage service procedures and industry best practices.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.
