Seeking a diligent, highly organized, result-oriented** Manager**:
- Financial Reporting** to join our growing Finance team at G42.
**The opportunity**
G42 is an Abu Dhabi based artificial intelligence and cloud computing company with a global footprint delivering holistic and scalable AI solutions to a variety of commercial and government clients. The Group’s business operations cover a wide range of industry verticals including Healthcare, Government, Smart City & Smart Mobility, Oil & Gas, Fintech, Geospatial, Aviation, Cloud Computing, Big Data Analytics and Sports.
**Responsibilities**:
- Act as a team leader of the Financial reporting team.
- Guide the development and implementation of a robust financial & management system and reporting process to facilitate management decision making in accordance to accounting standards & regulations.
- Manage the monthly and year-end closing process, prepare and provide the quarterly and year-end financial statements to management as required.
- Ensure that management reports are prepared on time, accurately and adequately convey the required information to facilitate management review.
- Ensure providing internal and external stakeholders with timely and accurate financial reports and analyses that support management in decision-making.
- Ensure enhancing and automating the financial and management reporting process by implementing industry best practices.
- Assist in preparation of management reports/presentation to be provided to Company’s executives, shareholders, and the Board.
- Ensure that the Group’s periodic consolidated financial statements comply with requirements of International Financial Reporting Standards (“IFRS”).
- Coordinate with finance business partners and Corporate HQ teams to review Division wise financial results on a monthly basis, analyse the numbers reported. Review of monthly balance sheet Ensure that revenue recognition is made in accordance with IFRSs.
- Coordinate with Group’s subsidiaries for monthly review of the reported financial results.
- Providing technical accounting support to Core Finance team and BUs within the
- Preparation of accounting papers for the critical accounting matters. Coordination with auditors to discuss and agree the appropriate accounting.
- Liaising with external auditors for the audit of the consolidated and standalone financial statements including technical accounting matters.
- Assist in establishing financial performance measures (financial KPIs) to determine and evaluate the Group's financial performance and monitor progress.
- Manage, guide and mentor any team members reporting into him/ her, identify potential talent amongst team members and provide timely support to them for learning and professional development.
- Manage the effective achievement of assigned objectives through the leadership of the team by setting of individual objectives, managing performance, developing and motivating staff to maximize performance.
- Act as a role model and drive adherence to organizational values and ethics by employees of the assigned section to foster a value driven culture within the organisation.
- Thrive to create an honest and open work environment where individuals collaborate/support each other as a team and are passionate to achieve a common business objective.
- Assist in ERP implementation.
- Supporting on a variety of adhoc projects as required.
Qualifications:
- Experience in relevant field/sector for more than 10 years.
- CA or CPA or ACCA.
