About the Client

We're partnering with a well-established hospitality group behind some of the region's most recognized luxury hotels and resorts. They're known for strong service standards, a people first culture, and a consistent focus on improving guest experience across their properties.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee month-end closing, financial accuracy, and the preparation of statutory and management reports in line with the Uniform System of Accounts (10th Edition) and organizational policies.
  • Ensure integrity of the General Ledger, P&L, balance sheet schedules, and bank reconciliations while meeting all compliance and corporate reporting timelines.
  • Review, validate, and approve financial documentation including invoices, expense claims, and payment vouchers, to ensure compliance, proper authorization, and strong audit trails.
  • Supervise payroll processes, ensuring accuracy, reconciliation, and adherence to internal controls and regulatory requirements.
  • Strengthen internal control frameworks, safeguard company assets, and coordinate proactively with internal and external auditors for smooth audit cycles.
  • Lead, mentor, and upskill the finance team while overseeing financial systems (Sun System, Payroll, FBM), documentation standards, and compliance-focused record management.

Requirements

  • Audit readiness, compliance, and financial control.
  • Hands-on experience in auditing, financial reporting, and internal control evaluation—preferably within hospitality or related service-driven sectors.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; professional qualifications such as CPA or CMA are an added advantage.
  • Proficiency with ERP and hospitality accounting platforms (Opera, Sun Systems) along with strong analytical, problem-solving, and supervisory capabilities.
  • Detail-oriented, structured, and resilient, with the ability to operate effectively in a dynamic, high-compliance, and people-centric work environment.
