Facade Access Consultant

Due to the ongoing success and growth of our UAE Facade team, a fantastic opportunity has arisen at our award-winning specialist consultancy, engineering, and advisory firm.

At AESG, we are seeking a Facade Access Consultant for remote work to support the division and collaborate with other specialist disciplines. The role involves providing expert guidance and solutions related to the access, maintenance, and replacement of building facades.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Working with the facade access team under the supervision of the team leader.
- Preparing reports and presentations detailing facade access and replacement solutions, considering factors such as building height, facade materials, and architectural design.
- Developing detailed specifications and designs for facade access systems, including suspended platforms, davit arms, and building maintenance units (BMUs).
- Preparing loading details for the facade access equipment in accordance with applicable standards (EN1808, EN795, BS 7883, etc.).
- Collaborating and coordinating with architects during the design phase to seamlessly integrate facade access solutions into building design.

**Essential Skills**:

- Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, or a related field.
- Proven experience in facade access consulting, design, or engineering, preferably in a consulting or architectural firm.
- In-depth knowledge of facade access systems, equipment, and safety regulations.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.
- Proficiency in relevant software tools for design and presentation (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, InDesign).
- Solid understanding of façade design principals
