Facade Designer

AESG is seeking a passionate and driven Façade Designer looking for an exciting new opportunity to work within AESGs award winning Façade Department located in Dubai.

This role offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced and motivated facade designer seeking a role within a growing and ambitious company with a unique service offering.

**Key Responsibilities**

**The role will include**:

- Assist the team members in the preparation of façade design drawings and models
- Prepare presentations and reports on design progress for internal and external stakeholders
- Support the Senior Façade Designer/Consultants in the coordination of design activities with other disciplines
- Conduct façade research and analysis to support design decision making
- Liaise with suppliers and contractors to obtain product information for façade systems and components
- Working closely with clients to ensure an exemplary level of quality
- Extensive façade project management
- Working with our multidiscipline team to ensure coordinated outputs
- Supporting the development our Facade offering across the Middle East

**Essential Skills**:

- Degree in Technical Design, Architecture or Mechanical Engineering
- Have a minimum 2 (two) years working for in a Façade Contractor and/or Consultancy
- Sound technical knowledge in Facade/Engineering within Residential, Commercial and Hotels sectors
- Ability to collaborate with various parties to organise a completion of a full package of façade tender intent documentation
- A thorough understanding of facade design and interdisciplinary design through all stages of the design process
- Organisation of design information
- Familiar with design software such as AutoCAD 2D and 3D in addition Sketchup, Grasshopper and Rhino is a plus
