**Overall Purpose of the role**
The Contract Manager is responsible for leading, managing & administering the project contract & QS aspects from start to end in addition to Contracts Administration, Tender Management, Project Commercial Management, Variations and Claims Management, supporting Bid Management.
**Key Objectives**
- To Effectively manage owned Contracts with day-to-day budget management of the Vendor Support and maintenance contracts.
- To manage the Shareholders contracts and ensure successful achievement of their deliverables, reporting directly on performance of those contracts.
- To ensure operations continue to deliver high standards in line with and beyond contractual Service levels to deliver the Best Network at lowest cost.
To manage and evolve the engagement and ongoing relationship with one or more key Technology vendors ensuring the delivery of agreed levels of service and quality at lowest
**1.** **CONTRACT MANAGEMENT**
- Create, prepare, review, and negotiate all contracts and consultancy agreements.
- Create and maintain relationships with Client & Subconsultants and serve as the point of contact for matters concerning contracts.
- Analyze all requirements and provisions in contracts, including terms and conditions, to ensure compliance with laws & regulations and company policies & procedures.
- Review and validate scopes and deliverables as per RIBA / AIA standards for projects.
- Maintain records for correspondence and documentation in relation to established contracts and those in progress.
- Administer all active contracts and move forward with close-out, extension and variations wherever applies.
- Solve any contract-related problems that may arise with client or sub consultants or any service provider.
- Manage and track all contracts’ processes and procedures.
- Sound knowledge of scheduling in MS Project & Prime Vera preferred.
- Clearly present project updates & reports to senior management on periodic basis.
- Ensure a project risk register is compiled, relevant and maintained.
- Be aware of client and sub-consultant invoices and when payments are made and received.
- Closely track the project financial aspects (earnings and expenses, invoicing and collections, payments to subs).
- Support in bidding management and review all relative contractual and legal documents.
**2.** **TENDER MANAGEMENT**
- Conduct and record the Prequalification of the contractors.
- Send invitation to shortlisted contractors for Bidding.
- Prepare Tender Volumes and Instruction to Tenderers.
- Response to Tender queries, issue addendums and post tender clarification.
- Ensure Technical and commercial evaluation of the bids and recommendation of contractor.
- Prepare Contract documents for the selected contractor.
- Support construction supervision team in the administration of the clients’-contractors’ contracts.
Reviews and challenges information received from contractor to ensure quality compliance
**Education and Training**
- Bachelor degree in Finance, Business Management or related field.
- Member of UAE Society Engineers & AIA (preferred) and PMI (highly regarded). Registration with home country professional body highly regarded.
- Knowledge of Project Management, Prince 2 would be an advantage
- Must be structured and organized.
- Experienced in dealing with confrontation, to gain win/win situations.
- A team player with strong interpersonal skills and excellent oral, written communications skills including extensive presentation / reporting skills.
- Must be able to build and maintain key relationships with customers and suppliers / vendors.
- Numerate with good commercial acumen.
- A can-do attitude and ability to start and complete assigned tasks in isolation and or within a team environment.
**Experience**
- An extensive knowledge of the development and management of operational support contracts.
- A strong knowledge of Service Management.
- Experienced in managing relationships with internal business customers and large external suppliers, by the development of relationships to ensure the mutual business needs are met.
- Experience of senior level communication and managing the expectations of internal customers.
- Proven to take full accountability for planning and delivering commercially viable options to the business.
- 10 years of Experience

- Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
