**Job Summary**:
We are looking for a detail-oriented **Accounts Receivable Accountant** with strong experience in **trading, construction, and contracting industries**. The role involves managing the entire accounts receivable cycle, ensuring timely collection of payments, maintaining accurate records, and supporting the cash flow requirements of the business.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage the **end-to-end accounts receivable process**, including generating customer invoices, payment tracking, and reconciliations.
- Monitor **outstanding receivables, follow up on overdue payments**, and coordinate with clients for timely collections.
- Record and reconcile **customer accounts, deposits, and receipts** accurately in the accounting system.
- Prepare **aged receivables reports**, highlight delinquent accounts, and escalate issues to management.
- Verify and reconcile **customer statements, contracts, and project-related billings** for accuracy and compliance with agreements.
- Work closely with the **sales, project, and operations teams** to resolve disputes, discrepancies, and billing issues.
- Ensure compliance with **company policies, credit terms, and contractual obligations**.
- Assist in **month-end and year-end closing processes**, providing supporting schedules and documentation.
- Support external and internal audits with required AR documentation.
- Contribute to improving **collection processes, cash flow forecasting, and credit control policies**.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum **3-5 years of experience** in Accounts Receivable, preferably in **trading, construction, or contracting industries**.
- Solid understanding of **contract billing, project-based accounting, and credit control processes**.
- Proficiency in **ERP/accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, Oracle, SAP)**.
- Strong knowledge of **MS Excel and financial reporting tools**.
- Familiarity with **VAT regulations and compliance**.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
