**Job Summary**:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Billing Assistant. As a Billing Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely and accurate invoicing and billing for our clients. You will work closely with our accounting team and provide support in managing our company’s financial processes.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Generate and send invoices to clients based on the specific terms and services provided
- Review client contracts to ensure accuracy and adherence to billing guidelines
- Maintain and update client billing information in our database
- Work with the accounting team to resolve any billing discrepancies or issues
- Prepare and send monthly statements to clients
- Respond to client inquiries and provide timely and accurate billing information
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and analysis when needed
- Keep track of client payments and follow up on any outstanding balances
- Collaborate with other team members to improve billing processes and systems

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance preferred
- Proven experience in billing or a related position
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent attention to detail and organization skills
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines
- Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
