Site Architect

**Job Overview**:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Architect to oversee and manage the architectural aspects of construction projects on-site. As a Site Architect, you will be responsible for ensuring that design plans are accurately implemented, and you will collaborate closely with the project management team, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure projects meet client expectations, budgets, timelines, and regulatory standards. This role requires a strong technical background in architecture, problem-solving skills, and a focus on quality control.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **On-Site Project Oversight**: Manage and supervise the implementation of architectural designs and construction activities. Ensure that work is completed according to the approved plans, specifications, and timelines.
- **Collaboration & Communication**: Work closely with the project manager, construction team, contractors, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and smooth project execution.
- **Quality Assurance**: Inspect construction work regularly to ensure that it adheres to architectural drawings, building codes, and quality standards. Identify issues or discrepancies and work to resolve them promptly.
- **Problem Solving**: Address on-site design and construction issues, providing practical solutions to overcome any challenges that may arise during the construction process.
- **Client Interaction**: Liaise with clients to understand their needs and ensure that the project meets their expectations. Provide regular updates and reports on the status of the site and address any concerns.
- **Site Safety & Compliance**: Ensure compliance with local regulations, building codes, and safety standards on the construction site. Conduct regular safety inspections and enforce safety protocols.
- **Documentation & Reporting**: Maintain up-to-date documentation of site activities, including daily logs, drawings, and meeting notes. Prepare progress reports for internal teams and clients.
- **Mentorship**: Provide guidance and support to junior architects and other team members on-site. Assist in the coordination and training of construction workers when necessary.

**Required Qualifications**:

- **Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree** in Architecture or a related field.
- **5+ years of experience** in architectural design and on-site project management.
- Strong knowledge of building codes, zoning laws, and construction regulations.
- Proficiency in architectural design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or Rhino.
- Experience in coordinating construction activities and collaborating with diverse teams.
- Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Registered Architect (RA) or other relevant professional certification.
- Experience in managing large-scale commercial, residential, or industrial projects.
- Familiarity with sustainable building practices and green certifications (e.g., LEED).
- Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project or Procore.
