Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Purchase Officer with experience in the catering industry to assist in managing the procurement of supplies essential for our operations. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with both internal teams and suppliers to ensure that all purchasing requirements for our catering and event operations are met efficiently and cost-effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

- Catering Supplies Procurement: Assist in purchasing catering-specific supplies such as food, beverages, equipment, and other essentials required for events and daily operations.
- Vendor Coordination: Build and maintain relationships with suppliers who specialize in catering and food & beverage products. Manage inquiries, track orders, and resolve issues related to product quality, delivery schedules, and pricing.
- Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels of catering supplies to ensure seamless operations. Coordinate with the catering and F&B teams to avoid shortages or excess stock, particularly during peak event seasons.
- Order Management: Prepare purchase orders for catering supplies, ensuring the correct quantities and specifications. Track the status of orders and follow up to ensure timely delivery.
- Purchase Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all purchasing transactions, including invoices, delivery receipts, and purchase orders. Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies.
- Supplier Performance Monitoring: Assist in evaluating supplier performance and ensuring that the quality of catering supplies meets company standards.
- Cost Control: Help track purchasing costs and seek cost-effective alternatives for catering supplies without compromising quality.
- Collaboration with Internal Teams: Work closely with the catering, kitchen, and event management teams to ensure that all necessary supplies are available for upcoming events and daily operations.

**Requirements**:

- Education: High school diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in purchasing or procurement, specifically in the catering, hospitality, or food & beverage industry.
- Strong Attention to Detail: Ability to manage purchasing activities accurately and efficiently, ensuring that all orders meet operational needs.
- Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with suppliers and internal teams.
- Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple orders and tasks simultaneously.
- Tech Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and purchasing software or systems.
- UAE Driving License: A valid UAE driver’s license is preferred.

**Experience**:
