Reporting of issues as they arise
- Completion of progress training & participation in progress related activities.
- Diligence in prevention of wastage.
- Attend department meetings
- Be aware and report on competitor and industry updates.
- Maintain department standards
- To maintain the aesthetic appeal of the hotel and its facilities ensuring they are sanitary, desirable and in good working order. The Housekeeping Supervisor will assist in the running of the Housekeeping Department through checking the work and assisting in the training of all Housekeeping associate of lower levels.
- Conduct inspection of guest rooms/guest areas and back of the house areas to ensure adherence to cleanliness, maintenance, safety and security. Report as directed any observed deviations to established standards
- Housekeeping Supervisor will be required to conduct their duties in a courteous, safe and efficient manner, in accordance with the hotel’s policies and procedures, ensuring that a high level of service is maintained.
- All duties as listed for Housekeeping Attendant.
- Coordinate Housekeeping Attendant allocated to the floor for the day using a team approach.
- Understand and assist with Room allocations.
- Provides any other duties and services as assigned by the Executive Housekeeper/Asst Executive Housekeeper
- Report all maintenance requests.
- Ensure associates have the correct tools for the job and the understanding of how to use same.
- Ensure equipment allocated to Housekeeping Attendant is accounted for and kept in the correct location.
- Handle efficiently any guest complaints or problems taking personal responsibility to rectify same.
- Training of all new Housekeeping Attendant.
- Check guest room cleaning and the work performed by Housekeeping Attendant, as each room is completed.
- Assist in the development of rosters.
- Responsibilities where performance will be assessed will include effective training and development, certification, performance evaluation, and optimization of productivity through efficient work practices.
- To understand and demonstrate competently the standards & procedures as set out by your department and the “brand name” Competency Profiles.
- Carry out the duties of a Housekeeping Supervisor (Public Areas) when required.
- Anticipate guest’s needs through observation and offer prompt, efficient service either personally or through effective communication with other associates.
- Align working practices and conduct with “hotel name” Hotel and Towers Vision; consistently strive to meet and exceed the expectations of both internal and external guests.
- Undertake additional duties as requested by the Executive Housekeeper, Assistant Executive Housekeeper and Hotel Management.
Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED2,500.00 per month
