Our client is a multi-award-winning Emirati brand that specializes in beauty and wellbeing, looking to hire a Payable Accountant to join their Dubai team.

The Accounts Payable resource is responsible for accurately updating and maintaining the creditor's ledger as well as preparing and processing all payments in accordance with company policies and procedures.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy/Finance
- **2 to 4 years of experience in accounts payable in the UAE, preferable in the wellness and beauty industry.**:

- Strong analytical and attention to detail
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel
- **Proficient in the use of SAP**:

- Excellent English communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and report to deadlines flexibility

**Responsibilities**:

- Review and verify invoices and check requests
- Sort, code, and match invoices
- Set invoices up for payment
- Enter and upload invoices into system
- Track expenses and process expense reports
- Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments
- Prepare and perform check runs
- Post transactions to journals, ledgers and other records
- Reconcile accounts payable transactions
- Prepare analysis of accounts
- Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date
- Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues
- Maintain vendor files
- Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries
- Produce monthly reports
- Assist with month end closing
- Provide supporting documentation for audits
- Maintains and reconciles prepaid and accrued expense subsidiary ledgers
- Ensures that all payments are prepared accurately and on time
- Maintain Supplier Reconciliation
- Continuing to improve the payment process
- Responsibility for ensuring compliance of VAT data collection, review, consolidation, preparation and payment of quarterly VAT liability.
- Responsibility for ensuring accuracy and completeness of accounting for VAT in the general ledger in accordance with the business timetable.

**Salary**: Up to AED6,000.00 per month
