**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and design innovative menus that reflect the authentic flavors of Greece, while also taking into account customer preferences and dietary restrictions.
- Manage food costs and inventory, while also ensuring that all food products are sourced from reputable and sustainable suppliers.
- Oversee all aspects of food preparation, including cooking, plating, and presentation, and ensure that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of taste, quality, and presentation.
- Lead and manage a team of kitchen staff, including sous chefs, line cooks, and prep cooks, and ensure that all team members are trained, motivated, and working efficiently.
- Maintain a safe and hygienic kitchen environment, and ensure that all food preparation and storage areas are clean and well-organized.
- Collaborate with other members of the management team, including the restaurant manager and front-of-house staff, to ensure a seamless and enjoyable dining experience for all customers.
- Stay up-to-date with current food trends and techniques, and continuously strive to improve the quality and creativity of our menu offerings.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of **6 years** of experience working as a chef in a high-volume, upscale restaurant setting, with a proven track record of success.
- Deep knowledge of Greek cuisine and culture, as well as a passion for using fresh, seasonal ingredients to create delicious and memorable dishes.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team of kitchen staff to work efficiently and effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with other members of the management team and front-of-house staff.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.

**Salary**: AED18,000.00 - AED26,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Dubai: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (preferred)

**Experience**:

- 6+ years experience in a Greek Cuisine (preferred)

- English (preferred)
