Automotive Workshop Supervisor - Dubai - UAE
- Workshop Supervisor has the overall responsibility to manage and lead a team of people in allocating and managing day-to-day operations in the workshop.
- Co-ordinate resources and liaise with internal and external key contacts to ensure work is delivered on time and to a quality standard.
- To test and confer with customers to obtain description of vehicle problems and discuss the necessary work to be performed. Estimate costs and time required for repair or maintenance of the vehicle. Ordering parts and supplies as needed.
- Inspect completed work for compliance with safety and other statutory regulations, and make sure defects are repaired or adjusted
- Make sure the vehicle is returned to the owner in a clean and decent state. Provide information for staff about latest developments, technical specifications of new cars, garage merchandise
- Maintain records of repair and service work, and make reports to detect recurrent faults.
- Experience in luxury, sports, SUV and light vehicle car is necessary for this position.
- Ensure that necessary spare parts, materials and equipment are available or obtainable at short notice.
- Managing and monitoring all the activities of the workshop to ensure efficient operations and technicians’ productivity, utilization, and efficiency
- Supervising and monitoring workshop team l, technicians, road tester, Tyreman to ensure their services meet the standards of quality set by a company to achieve customer satisfaction.
- Guide and direct the activities of servicing/repair staff to ensure optimal productivity and efficiency with Provides technical advice and direction to workshop team and reporting to the service manager and technical support team when required
- Monitoring all the activities of the service center (workshop activities, body shop activities, car care activity, purchasing, logistic, facilities, tools) in the first stage only to ensure efficient operations and efficiency by supplying the newest equipment and tools Competencies:
- Industry Specific experience as Supervisor (8 - 10 Years).
- Graduate in Mechanical or equivalent program.
- Able to work independently.
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
