- Provide estimates and ensure timely completion of repairs.
- **Workshop Operations**:
- Oversee daily workshop operations to ensure all repairs are carried out to high standards.
- Ensure safety protocols are followed, including proper handling of hazardous materials.
- Maintain an organized and clean work environment.
- Monitor inventory levels of parts and tools, ordering replacements as necessary.
- **Quality Control**:
- Review and inspect completed repairs and services for quality assurance.
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer guidelines.
- Implement quality improvement procedures as needed.
- **Budget & Financial Management**:
- Monitor the financial aspects of the workshop, including expenses and revenue.
- Track labor costs and ensure the workshop remains within budget.
- Prepare reports for senior management regarding workshop performance.
**Skills Required**:
- **Leadership**: Ability to lead and motivate a team of technicians and staff.
- **Technical Knowledge**: Strong understanding of automotive systems, repair processes, and diagnostic equipment.
- **Communication**: Clear and effective communication skills, especially when interacting with customers and staff.
- **Problem-Solving**: Ability to quickly identify issues and implement solutions.
- **Organization**: Ability to manage multiple tasks, schedules, and priorities.
