**Job Purpose**:

- To lead, manage and drive through the successful planning and execution of the entire lifecycle of each event assigned to the role holder
- To achieve revenue and profit targets
- To maintain existing and develop new customer relationships with regional and international sponsors
- To bring companies on board as sponsors and/or exhibitors for Stage 1, Annual and Large Scale Events
**Key Performance Indicators**:

- Achievement of sales revenue/profit target
- Successful event management
- Number of calls made per day/ Number of proposals sent per day
- Time of call duration
- Effective co-ordination with Production and Marketing
- Growth of existing portfolio by generating new ideas
- Drive through the achievement of sales revenue/profit targets
- Continue to build strong relationships with current and potential clients both pre and post event
- Manage and maintain strong relationships with team members representing the event to ensure the achievement of revenue targets for each event
- Manage and maintain existing policies and procedures for the team
- Work proactively as a team member sharing ideas and contributing to the overall growth of the department
**MUST HAVE**
- Educated to degree standard or equivalent
- Previous sponsorship experience with a demonstrated successful sales record of high value sales activity in conferences or exhibitions
- Full understanding of event sales cycles
- Speaks and writes clearly and fluently in English to both individuals and groups
- Computer literate and proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and LinkedIn
- Commercial awareness
**Desirable**
- Spoken Arabic
- Related industry knowledge and experience

**Experience**:

- B2B event sales: 1 year (preferred)
