**Vacancy Description**:
We are looking for an experienced HR Manager based in the UAE (Abu Dhabi or Dubai) to manage all HR operations and ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations. You will be responsible for employee contract coordination, onboarding, payroll coordination, including coordination with HR vendors, and other daily HR activities. This role requires strong knowledge of UAE labor laws and proven experience in IT companies.
The HR Manager will serve as the main point of contact for all UAE-related HR matters, ensuring seamless employee experience, compliance with local labor laws, company’s policies,and effective cooperation with HR vendors. The mission is to build a transparent, compliant, and people-oriented HR function that supports the company’s growth in the region.
**Requirements**:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an HR professional in IT or technology-related companies.
- Deep knowledge of UAE labor laws, visa regulations, and HR compliance requirements.
- Experience in managing contracts and payroll through HR vendors and HR systems.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and proactively manage HR operations.
- Fluent in English.
- Abu Dhabi or Dubai location, ability to visit Abu Dhabi office on a regular basis.
**Key Competencies**:
- Regulatory Expertise: Strong knowledge of UAE labor laws, visa management processes, labor contract management, and local compliance frameworks.
- HR Vendor Management: Ability to effectively manage visa management providers, payroll management providers, benefits vendors, and other HR partners.
- HR Operations: Proven track record in handling HR processes
- Analytical Thinking: Ability to analyze HR data, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations.
- Decision-Making: Confident in making HR-related decisions in line with company policy and local law.
- Adaptability: Comfortable working in a dynamic IT environment with evolving needs.
**Soft Skills Requirements**:
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build trust and maintain positive relationships across teams.
- Problem-Solving: Proactive approach to identifying and resolving employee-related issues.
- Organization: Strong planning and time-management skills, attention to detail.
- Confidentiality: High ethical standards and respect for confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
- Resilience: Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure.
**Would be a plus**:
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM, CIPD) is a plus.
- Experience working in a fast-paced IT or startup environment.
**Responsibilities**:
- Manage full-cycle HR operations for employees based in the UAE.
- Ensure compliance with UAE labor laws and local regulations, as well as the company's policies and procedures
- Coordinate with external HR vendors for payroll processing, visa processing, employee benefits, and other HR services.
- Handle the full cycle of employee onboarding, offboarding, contracts, payroll, and documentation.
- Support recruitment processes by coordinating with hiring managers, recruitment teams, and HR vendors for contract and visa management
- Maintain employee records and HR databases.
- Provide day-to-day HR guidance and support to employees and management.
- Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and programs aligned with UAE regulations and the company's requirements
- Manage employee relations and resolve HR-related issues.
- Be a collaborative team player for the international HR team, work closely with other HR managers, and work under the guidance and supervision of the Head of HR.
