**Design Architect**

**Interior Designer Job Responsibilities and Duties**
- Assess the requirements of a project, break a project down into tasks, and work with a Project Architect to determine scope of work, budget and staffing.
- Write scope of work for architectural design based on preliminary review and meeting with the client.
- Knowledge of applicable local and international building codes, work with code officials and other design professionals when an interpretation or exception to building codes is required.
- Assign and review work of project design team. Check progress of work and alert Project Manager to change of scope or additional services.
- Coordinate all aspects of project document completion within company and externally with clients in the presence of the (PM) and other design professionals.
- Review construction budgets based on experience and scope of project.
- Promote use of and participate in development of company design and production standards.
- Assist in the education and development of design staff and act as resource for design questions.
- Maintain neat and organized work area which allows efficient access to project information required by other team members.
- Hold regular project progress review meetings with all concerned engineers and disciplines.
- Ensure QA/QC procedures are being implemented and any QA/QC comments/issues are being addressed.

**Interior Designer Job Requirements**
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role, including a minimum of 1 years in UAE with a well-reputed firm.
- Ability to calculate intermediate figures.
- Proficiency in Autodesk AutoCAD Architecture, Revit Architecture, Sketchup and Photoshop, Illustrator and In-Design.
- Solid written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Sound organizational and analytical skills.
- Ability to effectively present information clearly.
- Understanding of design and construction concepts.
- Working knowledge of design, production, construction techniques and standards.

**Education**:

- Bachelor's (required)

**Experience**:

- Similar: 3 years (required)
